Random story from the
Road: |
Was out with Podunk on the Tesla tour and we were in
Anaheim with a day off. We played at the House of
Blues the night before and the people at Disneyland
were kind enough to give us passes to the park the
next day so we spent all day and night there then we
had to drive to Phoenix for a show the next day. I
started driving at about midnight and got about 45
miles outside of Phoenix when an 18 wheeler flipped
over and stopped traffic for about 3 hours. The
worst part of it was, was that it was pouring so we
were stuck in the van couldn’t move and I was dead
tired at that point. The show at the Dodge theater
that night rocked though, just goes to show ya a
good night of rockin cures all!! |
|
What would you be doing
if you weren't in Powderburn? |
I’m sure I’d be yelling at someone else |
| |
|
|
Greg |
The other Greg… Aside from the fact
that I never know if people are yelling for me or
for him, he’s great to have around. He drives, he
handles business, he drives, he keeps an eye on the
drunks in the band… did I mention he drives? He may
listen to so much G n’ R that even I get tired of
it, but there’s no one in the world that could
replace him. |
|
Pat |
The man, the myth, the legend. He’s
as Los Angeles as I am New York, but somehow we
always still get along. And of course, we’ll always
have Alec Baldwin, Greg. So sayeth El Twinkle Von
Ironfist, the First. |
|
Ken |
It takes a certain type of man to be
a tour manager. You have to be half asshole, half
annoying, half babysitter, half driver, half
accountant, half zoo keeper and half bar
tender….luckily he does half of those things half
right. But no, everyone needs a davis in their life
whether they know it or not. He keeps us on track
and on point long before the show every starts and
up until the next one. |
|
Eric |
Thinks he’s funny but, really, he’s not funny at
all, just annoying, but he does drive really good
and has smelly dog farts dick |
|
|
|
|
Dale |
The band cowboy… Were his cattle, and we tend to
try to see where we can graze, unfortunately he pays
us, so generally we listen.
